Arisaig House is ideally situated for touring the Highlands and Islands. The fishing port of Mallaig 10 miles distant, by way of Morar, famous for it’s white sand beaches, provides the gateway to Skye and the Outer Hebrides. From Arisaig itself, boats may be taken daily to the attractive Small Isles of Eigg, Muck and Rhum.

For those who wish to travel by rail from the south, there is a good service from London via Glasgow and Fort William on the West Highland line, including a nightly sleeper service. Beasdale, the local train station, just one mile away, was built for Arisaig House and is a request stop! Subject to prior arrangement, this is where guests arriving by rail are met.

Arisaig House is 32 miles from Fort William on the A830 road to Mallaig. Approx. 1.2 miles from Beasdale train station turn left into junction signposted Arisaig House and Cottages.
