Very briefly, the Gaelic word “Clann” (In English “Clan”) means family, descendants. It seems appropriate to use it to introduce the idea of special occasion visits to Arisaig House. The main house has eight double bedrooms en suite with excellent public rooms for dancing, banqueting and receptions. For bigger numbers, more accommodation can be added as required - at the last count up to 50 in comfort and space for a marquee for up to 250 guests!. What happens at a Clan Gathering ? Historically, eating, drinking, music, dancing, entertainment, story-telling, competitive sport... not a bad list so far? It could extend to a family gathering for a special event, or a very special wedding venue. Give the imagination free rein!
